Tanya Abraham is Director and curator of Kashi Art Gallery and Foundation, Kochi, India. Tanya grew up in Fort Kochi, a town immersed in history and character, where her family has been residing for the past 200 years. She is the author of “Fort Cochin, History and Untold Stories”, a writer and journalist, who has worked for well-known National and International publications. She was nominated for the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award in 2010, for her contribution to the Old Harbour Hotel, Fort Kochi. She has completed her post graduation in Journalism and is currently pursuing her masters in Arts Administration at the University of Kentucky. TAOS evolved from her love for the arts and the recognition of its power to change lives.
